Smoking Cessation Workshop

This is an interactive session for Health Care Professionals (HCP) who wish to improve their knowledge and skills in addressing smoking cessation in keeping with current evidence based guidelines.

The session will cover:

• Smoking and the effects of tobacco on long term conditions
• Helping your patient to quit
• "Very Brief Advice"
• The Cycle of Change
• The benefits of smoking cessation
• Therapies available to aid smoking cessation and their action
• E cigarettes

This is suitable for HCP working with all patients who smoke, particularly those with long term health conditions.
