Asthma One Day Update -27th February 2025(copy)

The cost for attending this course is £150, though there are a limited number of places due to funding available from the PHA for Practice Nurses. (A waiting list will be compiled when full)

Asthma One Day Update course will be held in the Massereene Room, Antrim Castle Grounds, Antrim. A Barrett McGrath EMS certificate of attendance will be provided for this one day certified course.

The day will begin 9.00am and finish around 4.00pm. Please bring a standard and paediatric Peak Flow Meter.

Tea/Coffee will be provided mid morning. Lunch may be purchased at the Cafe which is on site at Antrim Castle Gardens.

This programme will enable participants to understand principles of an asthma review and will include:

• Pathophysiology of asthma
• Risk factors and accurate history taking
• Diagnosis in the current climate
• Management/treatment in line with the new changes in guidance and evidence
• FeNO , eosinophils and their place in asthma care
